This will involve managing relationships with intermediaries and the underwriting teams with the aim of enforcing effective delivery of set loss ratio as per the company underwriting guidelines and building and maintaining customer relationships.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Secure new health business directly and through intermediaries as per set targets.<\/li>\n<li>Timely submission of quotations in line with our risk acceptance set guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Processing of endorsement for new business, Additions, and deletions<\/li>\n<li>Issuance of cover\u00a0writeup, policy documents and ensuring proper client files are maintained.<\/li>\n<li>Secure all onboarding documentation and premiums for new business.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Renewal retention as per set targets; sending renewal notices and constant follow ups.<\/li>\n<li>Service existing health business as the primary key accounts manager.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and participation in tendering process, securing and management of the account.<\/li>\n<li>Intermediary management from creation\/adoption to license renewal tracking.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate collection and updating of all clients KYCs documentation as per company guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake initial underwriting in accordance with set guidelines to ensure sound acceptance of risk and proper KYC vetting process.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up premium collections in a timely manner according to the company\u2019s stipulated guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Client reconciliation and liaise with brokers on where member accessed service not authorized which needs to be paid by the providers<\/li>\n<li>Sending invoices of exceeded limits to brokers \/ companies for payment<\/li>\n<li>Maintain excellent customer service with intermediaries and clients; respond to client enquiries and complaints and escalate when and where necessary as per the Company guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the improvement of current offerings by conducting market research, familiarizing and benchmarking with market trends.<\/li>\n<li>Hospital management, vetting &amp; sourcing new providers<\/li>\n<li>Advise cover terms to underwriting to enable timely and proper underwriting, scheme set up and other underwriting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare weekly Sales reports as required against the projected target.<\/li>\n<li>Attend scheme performance meetings and advice on measures to mitigate adverse claims experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors\u2019 degree in a business-related field.<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualification in Insurance (ACII, IIK).<\/li>\n<li>Atleast 5 years\u2019 relevant experience in the insurance industry; similar role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0The ability to work in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Customer centric and a good team player<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Effective communication, exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Strong business acumen.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Detail-oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v15.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"The role will be responsible for supporting business growth by meeting new business and renewal targets for the Health Insurance Business.
